Contracts Manager

Summary:

Based in Artarmon the Contract Manager supports the Operations team in the commercial and contractual aspects of project and service delivery, by providing advice on contracts, claims, variations, supplier and subcontract management.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support during tender and bid preparation
• Review and negotiate head contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements
• Identify and manage contractual risks, rights, and obligations across projects
• Provide guidance to project teams on contract interpretation and compliance
• Draft and manage contractual notices and claims
• Maintain contract documentation and document control systems
• Coordinate bank guarantees with the finance team and track their status
• Assist with management and renewal of company licences and compliance records

Must Haves:

• 4 years’ experience in contract administration, contract manager, commercial manager or a similar role
• Demonstrated experience in commercial or contract management within construction or maintenance services
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (advantageous)
• Working knowledge of Australian construction contracts
• Experience managing variations, claims and contract administration
