Description

Ambrose Construct Group is one of Australia’s largest Insurance Repair Specialists. With continued national growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimator Supervisor to join our FIFO Events Team. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is willing to travel on a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation.

About the Role

  • FIFO to event locations as required (10/4 roster).
  • Flexible base location: Mackay, Townsville, South Brisbane, or Gold Coast.
  • Prepare accurate scopes of work and cost estimates.
  • Ensure high‑quality, first‑time repairs and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors.
  • Maintain clear communication with the National Event Manager, Construction Manager, and clients.
  • Manage cost control while upholding repair and safety standards.
  • Work in accordance with Australian building codes, standards, and WHS requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction (Essential)
  • Willingness to obtain a QBCC Supervisor Licence (Essential).
  • Cert III in Carpentry (Highly regarded).
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem‑solving, and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience working in both occupied and vacant properties.
  • Ability to ensure materials and resources meet service demands.
  • Insurance repair or responsive maintenance experience (desirable).
  • Experience coordinating multi‑trade teams (desirable).
  • Confident delegating tasks and using mobile devices for work management.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, adaptable, and customer‑focused approach.
