Full Time and Casual Positions available

  • Multiple positions available – Casual and Permanent
  • Salary range Permanent: $40.19 – $53.10 p.h / Casual$50.23 – $66.37 p.h

Alwyndor’s welcoming, high quality facilities include 144 residential, dementia, respite care beds, transitional and care awaiting placement beds, together with allied health, therapy and wellness programs and home support packages that support people in Adelaide’s southern metro communities.

About the Role

In this rewarding role you will work under the guidance of our Clinical Nurses where every day will be different. You will be responsible for providing high quality best practice clinical care that supports and enhances residents’ individual lives. As a Registered Nurse at Alwyndor, you will have a basic understanding of required documentation and Commonwealth standards.

  • Delivering direct and comprehensive nursing care and individual case management
  • Provide evidence-based nursing care
  • Complete evaluations and documentation
  • Delivering quality individualised nursing care to residents

Shifts Available:

  • Morning 6:45am – 3:15pm
  • Afternoon 2:45pm -11:15pm
  • Night 10:45pm – 7:15am

About you

You will be a committed nurse who can demonstrate effective interpersonal and time management skills as well as the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Aged Care placement or clinical experience (2+ years preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and honestly to achieve organisational goals
  • Understanding requirements of regulatory compliance and accreditation
  • Basic experience with funding and required documentation
  • Understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Full Australian working rights

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
