Sales Development Representative (Embedded Energy)

Altogether is expanding our Growth team and we’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help accelerate our embedded energy network portfolio. If you thrive on engaging with people, uncovering opportunities, and supporting end-to-end sales success, this role is for you.
About the Role
As our SDR, you’ll play a key role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities across property developers, owners, corporations, and body corporates.
You will be the engine behind our sales pipeline—prospecting, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, coordinating proposals, and ensuring our Business Development Managers have the right support to close deals.
This role sits within our Growth stream and directly contributes to revenue generation, customer experience, and sales efficiency.
What You’ll Do

- Generate and qualify new business opportunities to build a high-quality sales pipeline

- Conduct outbound prospecting and respond to inbound lead enquiries

- Support Business Development Managers with proposals, pricing, presentations, and CRM updates

- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and operational teams

- Build strong relationships with developers, owners, body corporates, and contractors

- Provide market insights to influence product development and continuous improvement

- Maintain accurate sales reporting to support decision-making

- Champion compliance, safety, and risk management in all activities
About You
You’re motivated, persuasive, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people. You’re energised by hitting targets and finding creative ways to open doors.
You will also bring:

- Proven success in an SDR role, including cold calling and outbound pipeline generation

- Experience supporting field sales teams

- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills

- Ability to understand and sell complex, solution-based offerings

- High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and ownership

- A learning mindset and the ability to quickly grasp technical and commercial concepts

- Experience in the embedded energy industry is an advantage, but not essential
