Alpine MDF is seeking a hands-on, systems-focused Learning and Development Lead to join our People, Safety & Environment team in Wangaratta. This newly created role supports our site’s compliance, onboarding, and workforce engagement programs — with direct impact on our training systems, WHS performance, and organisational uplift.
This is a rare opportunity to take the lead on digital training transformation, support delivery of key obligations, and drive change through structured onboarding, communication and capability building.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Rolling out and managing our digital training platform.
- Developing and delivering training modules (compliance, onboarding, refresher)
- Updating and maintaining our Training Matrix and learning dashboards
- Supporting compliance and audit requirements (EU, ISO, FSC, WGEA)
- Supporting the classification structure, progression, and multi-skilling review process
- Providing generalist HR support as needed.
About You
You are:
- Highly organised and comfortable working with training systems and compliance data
- A confident communicator with experience delivering training both 1:1 and in groups
- Digitally savvy – familiar with Go1, Donesafe, or similar platforms
- Flexible and capable of supporting HR processes when needed
- Looking to take ownership of your work and make a visible impact.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in L&D, training coordination, or HR compliance
- Experience with digital training platforms
- Strong skills in training delivery, learning content creation, and compliance tracking
- Knowledge of WHS and employee development in a high-risk or manufacturing setting
- Generalist HR experience preferred.
