About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Podcast & Content Growth Strategist to lead the strategy, production direction, and distribution of our podcast as a flagship business asset.

This role is specifically for someone who understands podcast-led audience building and how long-form content becomes a scalable acquisition channel – not a generalist marketing or social media role.

You will own the podcast end-to-end: from concept, format, and storytelling strategy through to production oversight, distribution, and performance optimisation. Your focus will be turning long-form conversations into a high-performing ecosystem of content that drives awareness, engagement, and inbound interest.

You will sit at the centre of our marketing function, working closely with internal teams and external production partners to ensure every episode delivers commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

Podcast Strategy & Growth (Core Focus)

  • Own the podcast vision, positioning, and audience growth strategy
  • Design format, episode structure, guest strategy, and content pillars
  • Develop a clear point of view for how the podcast builds authority and attracts clients
  • Direct production teams to ensure high-quality, consistent output aligned to brand and growth goals
  • Turn podcast episodes into a structured multi-channel content engine (social, email, organic)
  • Create high-performing clips, hooks, and narrative cuts designed for reach and engagement

Growth & Performance Focus

  • Work with marketing teams to align podcast content with lead generation and funnel strategy
  • Track and analyse podcast performance across engagement, reach, and conversion indicators
  • Brief and manage external production partners and contractors
  • Work closely with internal marketing and copy teams to align messaging and campaigns
  • Ensure all podcast content supports broader brand and acquisition strategy

What You’ll Bring

  • Senior-level experience in podcast strategy, podcast production, or long-form content growth
  • Proven track record of launching or scaling a podcast or equivalent long-form content channel
  • Deep understanding of how podcasts build audiences, authority, and commercial outcomes
  • Strong editorial judgement – knows what makes people listen, share, and return
  • Experience working with production teams, editors, and creative contractors
  • Ability to translate long-form content into high-performing short-form assets
  • Strong understanding of audience growth, retention, and content-led acquisition
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable owning end-to-end responsibility
  • Bonus: experience in property, finance, or high-trust B2C industries
