About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist (Podcast & Organic Content) to own and scale our podcast as a core growth channel for the business.

You will sit at the centre of our marketing function, working with agency partners and internal teams to turn long-form content into a high-performing ecosystem across organic, social, email, and paid channels.

This is a build-and-scale role. You will own the podcast from concept through to execution, distribution, and performance, with a focus on turning content into a measurable driver of brand growth and acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Podcast Strategy & Execution (Primary Focus)

  • Own the podcast vision, positioning, and growth strategy
  • Define format, episode structure, hooks, and content direction
  • Build and execute the launch and scale plan, including workflows and cadence
  • Direct content shoots with contractors to ensure high-quality output
  • Create a repeatable system for ongoing podcast production and growth

Content Distribution & Organic Growth

  • Repurpose podcast content into social, organic, and email assets
  • Develop high-performing clips, hooks, and engagement strategies
  • Ensure consistent and strategic content output across platforms
  • Maximise reach, retention, and performance of all content assets

Collaboration & Marketing Integration

  • Work closely with agency partners to brief and execute content production
  • Partner with internal marketing and copywriting teams on eDM campaigns
  • Align podcast content with paid marketing to improve funnel performance

Reporting & Optimisation

  • Track podcast and content performance across engagement and acquisition metrics
  • Analyse content impact across organic, email, and paid channels
  • Continuously optimise based on data, trends, and performance insights
  • Build a scalable, performance-led content engine

What You’ll Bring

  • Senior-level experience in content strategy, podcasting, or long-form media
  • Proven success launching and growing podcasts or content channels
  • Strong skills in storytelling, content strategy, and performance marketing
  • Experience directing shoots and working with production teams, agencies, and contractors
  • Ability to turn long-form content into high-performing short-form and marketing assets
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Highly organised, accountable, and detail-oriented approach
  • A proactive mindset with ambition to grow into leadership
  • Bonus: experience in B2C finance, property, or investment content
