The Learning & Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping how capability is built across the business, supporting technical excellence, career progression and future leadership development.

Working closely with leaders, operational teams and external partners, this role will design and deliver learning programs aligned to our continued growth. In this role, you will

  • Shape and deliver learning initiatives that build current capability and future leadership strength.
  • Lead apprenticeship and early career programs, supporting skill development and long-term retention.
  • Work hands-on with leaders to design practical, job-relevant learning solutions.
  • Embed career pathways, development planning and mentoring across the business.
  • Manage learning systems, compliance and reporting to ensure effective, measurable outcomes.

About you

  • You bring proven experience in a Learning & Development or training role, ideally within a technical, trade or operational environment.
  • You have a strong track record designing, delivering and evaluating learning programs across face-to-face, online and blended formats.
  • You’re confident partnering with leaders, technical specialists and external providers to create practical, business-aligned learning solutions.
  • You’re comfortable managing apprenticeship programs, compliance requirements and training records with a high level of accuracy and care.
  • You’re organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • You’re genuinely passionate about learning, coaching and helping people grow, and you thrive in a collaborative, values-led culture.
