About the role     A strong opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of electrical and communications projects in the fast-growing critical infrastructure space. You’ll lead teams on site, drive performance across multiple projects, and deliver high-quality outcomes while strengthening client relationships and continuing to build your career in a stable, future-focused industry

You will

  • Run projects from start to finish, keeping sites safe, organised and on track
  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials and gear to get the job done right
  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular site contact and clear communication
  • Keep on top of costs, quoting, variations and invoicing to protect margins
  • Support and mentor tradies and apprentices, building a strong, reliable team
  • Be agile and quick thinking as well as able to solve problems quickly, including in situations when scope and clarity aren’t always clear.
  • Be looking to be part of a team with long tenure and positive culture.
  • Be comfortable with moving projects forward while details are still evolving.

 

About you

  • Hold an unrestricted Electrical licence with strong technical trade background.
  • Holding an ACMA (Optical Fibre, Coax & Structured) cabling licence is a high advantage.
  • Proven project management experience in electrical, cabling, telecommunications or data infrastructure
  • Confident leader who delivers high-quality projects and gets the best out of teams
  • Commercially aware with experience in estimating, cost control and project software (SimPro experience is highly desirable)
  • Strong communicator with a proactive mindset and commitment to safety (HSEQ) and continuous improvement
