We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has a passion for delivering exceptional aftersales support.
As the key link between our customers, technicians, and parts department, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring service jobs run smoothly from booking through to completion.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer service enquiries over the phone, face-to-face and via email
- Booking and coordinating machinery servicing and repairs
- Creating and managing service repair orders
- Liaising with technicians regarding job progress and timeframes
- Communicating repair updates and recommendations to customers
- Coordinating parts availability with the Parts Department
- Processing invoices and explaining charges to customers
- Assisting with warranty administration and service documentation
- Managing multiple jobs and customer interactions simultaneously
- Identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance and additional service work
- Maintaining accurate customer records within dealership systems
- Supporting a safe and organised workshop environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Administration, or customer service role
- A mechanical or similar trade qualification or mechanical aptitude/ exposure to machinery, automotive, agriculture, construction, or heavy equipment industries
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence working with computer systems and service software
- A commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent customer service
