We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has a passion for delivering exceptional aftersales support.

 

As the key link between our customers, technicians, and parts department, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring service jobs run smoothly from booking through to completion.

 

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer service enquiries over the phone, face-to-face and via email
  • Booking and coordinating machinery servicing and repairs
  • Creating and managing service repair orders
  • Liaising with technicians regarding job progress and timeframes
  • Communicating repair updates and recommendations to customers
  • Coordinating parts availability with the Parts Department
  • Processing invoices and explaining charges to customers
  • Assisting with warranty administration and service documentation
  • Managing multiple jobs and customer interactions simultaneously
  • Identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance and additional service work
  • Maintaining accurate customer records within dealership systems
  • Supporting a safe and organised workshop environment

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Administration, or customer service role
  • A mechanical or similar trade qualification or mechanical aptitude/ exposure to machinery, automotive, agriculture, construction, or heavy equipment industries
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence working with computer systems and service software
  • A commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent customer service
