We’re now looking for a Lead Assembler to join our Yandina Branch—someone who can lead from the front, drive quality, and ensure our machines are delivered to customers right the first time.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Lead Assembler plays a key role in coordinating and supporting the Assembly team to deliver high-quality machine builds and pre-delivery work. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily workflow, support and mentor your team, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of machine assemblers

• Coordinate daily workflow and prioritise builds to meet delivery timeframes

• Conduct toolbox and progress meetings to drive safety and efficiency

• Inspect completed machines to ensure quality and compliance standards are met

• Work closely with Sales, Service and Parts teams to manage job progress

• Monitor labour efficiency and minimise rework

• Support training and development of apprentices and team members

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance

About You

You’re a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality work and enjoys developing others. You bring a strong mechanical background and understand the importance of getting it right the first time.

• Mechanical trade qualification (or strong relevant experience)

• Experience leading or mentoring a team in a workshop environment

• Strong knowledge of machinery (agriculture preferred)

• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workflow effectively

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• HR and LF licences (desirable)

Why Join Allclass?

• Option to work a 4 day (compressed) or 5 day week

• Work with a reputable, growing Kubota & Merlo dealership

• Be part of a supportive and down-to-earth team

• Opportunity to step into a leadership role and make it your own

• Ongoing training and development opportunities

• Stable, long-term career with a family-owned business
