Description

Executive Assistant – OCU Group (ANZ) Location: Brisbane, QLD

Type: Full-time, Permanent

About OCU Group (ANZ)

OCU Group is a UK-headquartered energy transition business, and Australia and New Zealand is one of the most important chapters in our global growth story. Through our brands AEC, Pilecom and Bam Bam, we’ve already built a strong regional foundation. Now we’re scaling fast, thinking bigger, and investing in the people and capability to make OCU Group (ANZ) a dominant force in the energy transition market. What we build here matters, globally.

As we scale our operations in Australia and New Zealand, we’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to sit at the heart of our leadership team. You will primarily support our CEO, while also providing support to the wider international Executive team as required.

This is a role where no two days look the same. You’ll be managing competing priorities, facilitating cross-border collaboration, and acting as a trusted extension of the leadership team. If you thrive in environments where pace and purpose go hand in hand, you’ll feel right at home.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing complex, ever-shifting diaries and travel itineraries across multiple time zones including liaising with our UK HQ
  • Coordinating board level meetings, leadership offsites, and external engagements, including preparation of agendas, pre-reads, and follow-up actions
  • Acting as a first point of contact and gatekeeper, exercising strong judgement on prioritisation and escalation
  • Drafting and proofreading correspondence, presentations, and briefing documents to a high standard
  • Managing expenses, invoices, and budget tracking on behalf of your stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally
  • Identifying opportunities to improve how the leadership team operates and proactively driving those improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience of being an EA or senior administrative experience, ideally supporting C-suite or senior leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing demands, and keep everyone feeling supported
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you know how to represent senior leaders professionally
  • High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence and the ability to exercise discretion with sensitive information
  • Experience supporting international teams or working across time zones is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with project or workflow tools a plus
  • A self-starter, you don’t wait to be told what needs doing, you’re already on it
  • Open Driver’s Licence and valid Australian working rights

Why OCU Group (ANZ)?

  • Be part of one of the most exciting growth stories in the energy transition space
  • Work directly with the senior leadership team shaping our growth trajectory in the region
  • Join a business that genuinely values the people, supporting them to perform at their best
  • A culture that’s ambitious, collaborative, and refreshingly straightforward
  • Competitive salary package commensurate with experience
