About The Role

We are looking for a casual Retail Shop Assistant to join the team at our head office located in Findon. This role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with customers, has a good eye for detail and is committed to providing exceptional service for our customers by assisting with their purchases and providing information and advice on uniform sizing and requirements to create a welcoming shop experience.

The successful candidate will also be expected to travel to and work at our onsite retail shop in Salisbury.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in-store with uniform enquiries and purchases.

• Answer basic customer enquiries via email, phone and in-store.

• Operating the POS system and processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation.

• Stocktaking and Ordering

• Fitting student uniforms.

• Reconciling the till

• Liaising with Head Office and School Office staff

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working in retail or customer service

• A friendly and approachable personality with strong communication skills.

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

• Basic computer skills with an understanding of POS systems however training will be provided

• High level of attention to detail

• Able to lift and manoeuvre heavy loads of stock and equipment.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Drivers licence and reliable car.

• Hold a current Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain.

• Willing to work before and after school, as well as school holidays including January/February.
