Intermediate Accountant

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
  • Assist with audits and tax filings
  • Provide support to senior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
