Currently thriving in Australia and New Zealand we are now expanding to Canada and shortly into the UK. 

We’re a team of thinkers, doers, big-hearted challengers, and people who take their commitments seriously. We don’t do hierarchy for the sake of it. We trust our people to lead themselves. And right now we’re scaling, and we need a Group Financial Controller who can grow with us.

What you’ll be responsible for: → Working as part of the Global Leadership Teams to provide financial insight, strategic thinking, and honest challenge to the current business operations.  → Lead end-to-end finance operations across ANZ, Canada, and UK including reporting, compliance, tax, audit, and cash flow management → Own financial planning and analysis including budgets, forecasts, scenario modelling, and board-level reporting that actually tells the story

→ Assist in streamlining and updating our internal systems and processes to maximise profitability  → Identify risk early and act on it, commercial, financial, and governance risks across a growing global group → Leading the development and delivery of key financial cycles, including forecasting, budgeting, and long‑term planning, ensuring alignment to the Business Plan and optimal use of resources.

→ Help build and develop a financial and accounting team which includes external relationships with accountants, auditors, and banks → Oversee the payroll function to ensure accuracy and efficiently and on schedule payments made

We’re looking for someone who: 

•Has CA/CPA qualified with 5-7 years experience in a similar role 

•Brings strong technical accounting expertise across financial reporting, compliance and governance 

•Has experience or a strong interest in how to build scalable finance processes and drive operational improvements 

•Highly regarded if you have worked in a similar consultant type business 

•Experience working international highly preferred 

•Experience in XERO preferable 

Location: Melbourne (hybrid model, with office presence encouraged)
