About The Role
As the Sales Team Lead, you will be accountable for Steel and Precast sales performance, owning strategy, pipeline, and revenue outcomes. You will lead and manage a high-performing sales team, creating accountability, driving performance, and supporting individual development across the function. You will actively manage pipeline health, forecasting, and reporting, and provide clear direction on lead generation strategy—defining target markets, ideal clients, and product
priorities.
You will ensure strong alignment between Sales, Estimating, and Delivery, taking full ownership of the sales process and continuously improving it to drive efficiency and results.
You also lead the development of steel and precast products by identifying market opportunities through customer and project insights, defining repeatable product opportunities, collaborating with Design and Engineering to create viable solutions, and driving the commercialisation of new products into the sales pipeline.
Working closely with builders, developers, engineers, and other key stakeholders, you will build strong client relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver solutions that create value and drive long-term business growth within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the overall performance of the Steel and Precast sales function, including strategy, pipeline growth, customer engagement, and revenue outcomes.
- Set, monitor, and achieve business revenue and pipeline targets through proactive planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Lead, manage, and hold Project Consultants accountable, fostering a high-performing and results-driven sales culture.
- Manage pipeline health, forecasting, reporting, and conversion performance to support predictable business growth.
- Provide direction on lead generation strategy by identifying target markets, ideal clients, growth sectors, and product priorities, while working closely with Marketing on execution.
- Ensure strong alignment between Sales, Estimating, Design, and Delivery teams to support successful project outcomes and customer experience.
- Own and continuously improve the end-to-end sales process to increase efficiency, consistency, and conversion outcomes.
- Lead the development and commercial growth of the precast product offering by identifying market opportunities, defining repeatable product solutions, collaborating with Design and Engineering, and driving new products into the sales pipeline.
About You
You bring structure and accountability to the sales function, with proven capability in sales management and forecasting. Establish a consistent pipeline review rhythm, ensuring clear visibility of performance and opportunities across the team. You are an effective coach who prioritises regular, meaningful 1:1s to develop individuals and lift overall capability. You take full ownership of the sales process—continually refining and optimising it to drive efficiency, consistency, and results. You can demonstrate:
