About the Opportunities

We’re looking for a team member to join Akura as a Factory Office Coordinator in our precast facility based in Bathurst. Collaborating closely with the Precast Factory Managers, you will undertake a role that combines administrative and procurement responsibilities, supporting day-to-day office operations as required. Your tasks will include office-based duties such as coordinating materials, purchasing, and operational support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass both administrative and hands-on responsibilities, including:

  • Maintain and update precast reporting and project tracking documentation
  • Monitor and report project completion progress and key milestones
  • Manage and update project data within program scheduling systems
  • Coordinate and track concrete orders
  • Prepare and maintain project compliance documentation
  • Record and manage concrete strength test results and related quality records
  • Maintain daily Quality Assurance documentation accurately
  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in a timely manner
  • Complete credit card reconciliations
  • Process and coordinate invoice approvals in line with company procedures
  • Obtain quotes for consumables and procurement needs
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure procurement needs are delivered on time and efficiently
  • Assist with up-to-date drawing revisions and ensure clear communication of changes
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of induction documentation
  • Assist with distribution of daily production plans
  • Coordinate monthly stocktakes and manage procurement requirements accordingly
  • Accurately process and input employee timesheets
  • Complete and maintain storage tracking records and documentation

About You

Skills in the following would be highly advantageous:

  • Proficient administrative experience and willingness to learn
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and calm under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on quality, always seeking to deliver your best work
