The Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our self‑propelled sprayers, both in the field and from our workshops.
This is a varied, technical position involving onsite field service, scheduled maintenance, and pre‑delivery preparation, depending on business needs.
You’ll enjoy high autonomy, strong team support, travel to regional Australia, and the unique opportunity to work directly for the manufacturer.
Applicants with qualifications in Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanics, Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitting, Boilermaking, Auto Electrical or Agricultural Mechanical Technology are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Responsibilities
- Complete onsite repairs and scheduled servicing of Agrifac self‑propelled sprayers.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Perform routine maintenance and product upgrades.
- Respond to breakdowns and provide effective troubleshooting in the field.
- Complete service documentation, reports, and compliance records accurately.
- Deliver professional customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Liaise with customers to meet deadlines and expectations.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.

The Essentials
- Trade qualification or relevant industry experience in Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanics, Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitting / Fitter & Turner, Auto Electrical, Boilermaking, Agricultural Equipment (or similar).
- Experience in maintenance, field service, or machinery repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Australian driver’s licence.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage your own time and work remotely.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance.
- Willingness to learn, innovate, and support your team.
The Desirables
- Experience with heavy equipment, earthmoving, telehandlers, forklifts, or mobile plant.
- Forklift licence, confined space entry, working at heights.
- Exposure to commissioning or systems integration.
- Ability to travel nationally or internationally if required.
