Agri Labour Australia is seeking a Site Coordinator to oversee daily workforce operations at one of our host clients’ sites in Brisbane.

This hands-on leadership role acts as the key link between Agri Labour Australia, our workforce, and the client, ensuring safety, performance, and positive engagement across the site.

About the Role

As the Site Coordinator, you will represent ALA on-site at one of our host clients, ensuring our workers are supported, compliant, and performing to their best.

You will act as our ambassador, managing site relationships, maintaining safety and compliance standards, coordinating attendance and performance, and ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved for both ALA and our client.

Your focus will be on proactive engagement, safety leadership, and effective workforce management to ensure operations run smoothly and workers feel supported every day.

Core Capabilities

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Conduct regular site walk-throughs and maintain strong communication with ALA workers and host client supervisors.
  • Build trusted relationships between ALA, the client, and our workforce.
  • Conduct fortnightly face-to-face welfare check-ins with all workers to address worker wellbeing and personal issues.

Safety & Compliance

  • Champion a positive safety culture across all site operations.
  • Lead weekly safety checks, task observations, and incident reviews.
  • Ensure injury reporting and response procedures are followed accurately.

Performance & Workforce Management

  • Oversee attendance, punctuality, and on-site performance.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to maintain productivity and morale.
  • Support the disciplinary and performance management processes as needed.

Training & Induction

  • Assist with onboarding new ALA workers, including PALM participants.
  • Identify opportunities for upskilling and redeployment.

Payroll & Administration

  • Manage payroll and payslip queries in collaboration with ALA’s payroll team.
  • Support workers in understanding leave entitlements and deductions.
  • Ensure timely submission of leave forms and compliance documentation.

Transport & Logistics

  • Work with the logistics team to maintain reliable worker transport.
  • Assist with travel to and from site or appointments when required.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Proven experience in staff supervision or site coordination (manufacturing, labour-hire, or agricultural environments preferred).
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety, compliance, and injury management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups.
