management services to aerodrome owners and operators across Australia. Our
growing team of aviation specialists supports clients in aerodrome design,
project management and construction, maintenance, technical inspections and
surveys, operational readiness, airport security, training, regulatory
compliance, audits, and ongoing daily operations.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts
Officer to join our Finance team for an 8 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be responsible for providing timely
and accurate accounts processing, maintaining financial records, and supporting
overall financial operations. This role will be responsible for the efficient
end to end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable lifecycles and functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Process financial transactions including accounts payable
and receivable, invoices, receipts and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile daily bank statements and resolve discrepancies
promptly.
• Weekly reconciliation of credit card, rideshare, and
corporate travel transactions.
• Verify account balances and maintain accurate financial
records in accounting systems and spreadsheets.
• Assist in payroll processing and services as where required
• Liaise with admin assistants to ensure timely invoicing
and follow-up on outstanding payments and payment of suppliers
• Various internal relationship and stakeholder management
within the business
• Support other accounting ADHOC tasks as required.
What You’ll Bring
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
(desirable).
• Solid understanding of core accounting functions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central experiences and Employment Hero are highly favourable but not essential
records in accounting systems and spreadsheets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft
Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
