Role Overview: We’re looking for a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing essential care for clients with mental health needs and supported independent living (SIL). We also offer the flexibility to assist with day programs for adults, afterschool care, and vacation care when required. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about empowering others and making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in their homes, fostering a sense of independence

• Support with personal care, including daily living skills and hygiene

• Help with domestic tasks like meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Provide support to clients with complex behaviors and mental health needs

• Facilitate access to community activities, appointments, and social engagements

• Maintaining accurate records and data, regularly reviewing client plans to ensure transparency regarding their needs and supports

What We Offer:

• Permanent Part-Time Role with guaranteed minimum weekly hours

• Pay: Social and Community Services Employee Level 2.1 at $33.41/hr (Ord. Mon – Fri). Additional penalty rates and shift allowances for work outside regular hours

Requirements:

• Current First Aid & CPR certification

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)

• Working With Children Blue Card

• Valid Driver’s License & own vehicle with comprehensive insurance

• Positive attitude, team spirit, and dedication to providing exceptional care

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Desirable Qualifications:

Certificate III in Individual Support (or a willingness to pursue)
