Position: Disability Support Worker

Role Overview: As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide essential support to clients with mental health needs and supported independent living (SIL). We also have the opportunity for adults day programs, afterschool care and vacation care when needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients in their homes
• Maintaining accurate records and data
• Regularly reviewing client plans to ensure transparency regarding their needs and supports
• Working effectively with clients exhibiting complex behaviors
• Personal care needs

Key Duties:

• Assist clients in improving daily living skills
• Support with domestic tasks and meal preparation
• Help clients develop independence skills
• Facilitate access to community activities, appointments, and leisure
• Enhance capacity in personal care, transportation, and social interactions

Requirements:

• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working With Children Blue Card
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Positive attitude and ability to work within a team
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Desirable Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or willingness to pursue)
