ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at our Brisbane Head Office, you will be part of a collaborative, high-performing national team dedicated to delivering superior customer solutions.

As the Immunology Business Development Specialist, you will specialise exclusively on Immunology, incorporating the rare opportunity to represent a leading global supplier. You will focus on innovative product lines and building strong, meaningful partnerships with key customers across Australia. This is a national territory role, requiring regular monthly travel to engage with customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with suppliers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Grow revenue and market share for Immunology suppliers and product lines across Australia.
  • Develop new market opportunities for emerging products, services, and solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong customer networks including Key Opinion Leaders and major laboratories.
  • Manage multiple strategic initiatives and visit both existing and prospective customers nationwide.
  • Deliver impactful business development, sales, and technical presentations.
  • Travel nationally each month to meet customers, attend industry events, and strengthen supplier relationships.
  • Participate in commercial meetings, national training programs, and cross-functional planning activities.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce and complete monthly reporting.
  • Provide product demonstrations, basic customer training, and support evaluation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader commercial and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business alignment.
  • Share market intelligence, contribute to installation planning, and recommend improvements or new business initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Qualifications in Medical Science, especially with a focus on Immunology.
  • Minimum 5 years business development experience in IVD Pathology
  • Proven track record with successful revenue generation
  • Key customer management and account experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian immunology market
  • Strong understanding and experience with laboratory automation sales
  • Strong relationship building, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and analytical skills
  • A proactive, self motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
  • A genuine passion for advancing Immunology solutions and improving patient outcomes.
