Bank Support Worker (Internally known as Enablement Assistant)

Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour

​Hours Per Week: Various hours available

About the role

We are looking for someone who has a great deal of passion in supporting people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism or experience in supporting people with behaviours that may challenge. The People we support across Hampshire have different levels of requirements. We value experience in supporting others, but we warmly welcome people without experience who share our values.

Being a Support Worker at PBS4 is not like any other role within social care! It is more than just providing personal care. About PBS4

PBS4 is a values led social care organisation, providing Neurodisability Services to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or behaviours that may challenge. We support people living in their own homes, with their own tenancies, and we utilise Positive Behaviour Support as the framework for the support we provide.

We are a medium-sized organisation supporting people across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, Somerset, and Oxfordshire and with a workforce of around 350 employees.

Company Overview

PBS4 provides support to enable people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour to have independent lives and to live in their own home. Our approach is underpinned by Positive Behaviour Support. Positive Behaviour Support is an approach mostly used to support people with learning disabilities whose behaviours challenge others. The goal is to shift the focus away from reducing challenging behaviour to understanding what that behaviour means and supporting people to get what they need better.
