We’re now looking for a Credit Analyst to join our high-performing credit team and support the continued growth of our lending and investment operations.
About the role
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you’ll play a key role in assessing and preparing credit submissions across the AltX Financial Group. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across diverse lending products. You’ll be responsible for ensuring credit submissions are accurate, well-supported, and aligned with our internal policies, while also liaising with legal teams to ensure smooth loan documentation and execution.
What you’ll be doing
• Assessing and reviewing loan applications across multiple product lines
• Conducting due diligence in line with AltX’s credit policies
• Analysing financial statements, tax returns, valuations, and legal documents
• Performing company, guarantor, and title searches
• Preparing and presenting credit submissions to the Credit Committee
• Managing the pipeline of incoming loan applications
• Drafting loan instructions and coordinating with solicitors
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve credit processes

• You’re known for your deep understanding of AltX’s product suite
• You consistently produce high-quality, error-free credit papers
• You collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, brokers, and BDMs
• You bring a solutions-focused mindset to every challenge
What we’re looking for
• Experience in banking, non-bank lending, or financial services in a credit-focused role
• Strong understanding of the Australian housing market and regulatory landscape
• Proven ability to assess long-term credit products
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Clear, concise written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• A customer-first, solutions-oriented approach
