Duty Manager

We’re on the lookout for a Duty Manager to join our Hospitality & Events team over the busy summer season. This casual role supports the delivery of our Hāngi & Concert evening experience – which moves to 4 nights per week from 26 December – 28 February

What you’ll be doing | Te whakamahere

• Ensuring host responsibility and compliance with our alcohol licence
• Supporting the hospitality team to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience
• Leading staff on the floor, problem-solving, and ensuring guest safety and satisfaction
• Communicating clearly with performers, kitchen teams, and front-of-house staff

Shift Details: Approx. 4pm – 9pm | Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

What you’ll need to be successful | Ō Pūkenga

• Current LCQ & Manager’s Certificate (Duty Manager) — essential
• Proven experience in hospitality
• Excellent communication and people-handling skills
• Be reliable, positive, and able to work a minimum. 2 of the 4 nights
• A genuine commitment to manaakitanga and providing an exceptional visitor experience
