Employment Type: Part-Time (school term only)
Work Pattern: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7am to 2.30pm

About the Program
Child Australia’s Mobile Children’s Service visits remote Indigenous communities in the Pilbara to deliver fun, play-based learning for young children. The program helps children get ready for school and supports families in their local community.
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Educator to join our team in South Hedland. You’ll travel to different communities, set up activities, and work with children and families.
Please note there is no work during school holidays.
What You’ll Do
- Visit remote communities and run play-based learning activities
- Build relationships with children and families
- Work with local health and support services
- Help with setting up, packing down, and cleaning equipment
- Prepare snacks and help with basic documentation
- Drive up to 4 hours a day, 3 days a week; 4WD may be needed
What You Need
- Experience working with young children
- Working with Children Check (or willing to get one)
- Valid Australia driver’s licence
- First Aid certificate (or willing to get one)
As part of our commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the last six months. This must be submitted prior to commencing employment.
