The Opportunity
As a Property Risk Analyst at AltX, you’ll play a critical role in shaping lending decisions that drive our business forward. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you’ll analyse property data, uncover insights, and provide clear, actionable recommendations to our Credit Committee.
This is a role for someone who is passionate about property, enjoys building relationships, and wants to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing sector.
What You’ll Do
- Research property values using tools like RP Data, Google Earth, NearMap, and RealEstate.com
- Instruct and liaise with valuers on property valuations
- Review and critically analyse external valuation reports
- Build and maintain a strong network of real estate professionals across Australia
- Contact agents to gather market intelligence on sales, valuations, and trends
- Present findings and insights to senior executives and the Credit Committee
- Write clear, concise reports for internal and investor audiences
- Conduct market research and analysis to support lending decisions
- Pitch in with general admin tasks – because at AltX, no job is too big or too small
What We’re Looking for
- Valuer qualification and experience in property or finance
- A genuine passion for the property sector
- A self-starter with curiosity and confidence to pick up the phone daily
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong report-writing ability and analytical thinking
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
