At Continence Health Australia, we’re passionate about improving bladder and bowel health through education, advocacy, and evidence-based practice. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Content Writer to help us create engaging online learning experiences for health professionals nationwide.

About the Role

In this part-time role (0.5 FTE), you’ll work with our Learning & Development Manager, Instructional Designer, and Subject Matter Experts to research, write, and coordinate evidence-based online learning courses. Your work will directly contribute to supporting general practitioners and health professionals to deliver best-practice continence care.

What You’ll Do

  • Research, review, and structure evidence-based online learning content that reflects best practice in continence care.
  • Coordinate the development and review of online courses, ensuring alignment with educational goals, clinical standards, and learner needs.
  • Support project planning and coordination across multiple contributors, reviewers, and validation stages.
  • Collaborate with the L&D Manager, Instructional Designer, and E-Learning Developers to ensure engaging content design, presentation, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and review formative and summative assessments and manage question banks within the LMS.
  • Sequence learning content to suit different levels of clinical experience and knowledge.
  • Use learner feedback and evaluation data to refine and enhance existing online courses.
  • Maintain a distinctive, high-quality presentation of learning materials.
  • Provide strategic and clinical input into the development of educational resources for GPs and health professionals.

About You

You’re curious, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence. You enjoy turning complex health information into engaging learning experiences that inspire behaviour change and improve patient care.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in online education, health communication, or clinical writing.
  • Background or interest in medicine, healthcare, nursing, or related fields (preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and adult learning principles (desirable).
