Description

Aurora Expeditions is looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Executive to join our global team. The Digital Marketing Executive plays a key role in supporting Aurora’s global marketing strategy, helping to drive growth across our digital channels. The role focuses on driving lead generation, brand awareness, and conversion results for a global expedition cruise company.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with both external agencies and internal stakeholders to assist in executing campaigns that build awareness, generate leads, and convert prospects across key markets including Australia, EMEA, and North America.

This hybrid role, based in Sydney, offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, global marketing team, in a fast-moving company undergoing significant growth.

What You’ll Do

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll play a hands-on role in executing digital campaigns and optimizing performance across multiple platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

Campaign Management & Execution (30%)

  • Support development and execution of digital campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels (Meta, Google, Display, YouTube, email).
  • Assist with creative asset briefing and seasonal launches.
  • Track performance, conduct A/B testing, and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency.
  • Support lead generation initiatives, including form creation and campaign integration.

Email & Lifecycle Marketing (20%)

  • Assist with CRM campaigns: email creation, audience segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing Manager to enhance engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure compliance with advertising regulations and platform guidelines.

Website & Content (20%)

  • Maintain and update website content for accuracy, engagement, and SEO alignment.
  • Support web optimization (UX/UI, CTAs, landing pages).
  • Create blog content and destination stories aligned with brand tone and priorities.

Data, Reporting & Insights (15%)

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports across digital channels.
  • Monitor analytics, web traffic, and lead generation data to identify trends and opportunities.

Collaboration & Brand Alignment (15%)

  • Work closely with trade, PR, partnerships, and content teams to align digital activity with brand priorities.
  • Ensure all digital assets reflect Aurora’s brand values and sustainability principles.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing and/or Communications.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within travel, tourism, or consumer marketing.
  • Strong understanding of paid media, SEO, analytics, and social platforms.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing platforms (Salesforce or similar), CMS (Kentico or similar), and basic SEO principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
