The Role
We are looking for a skilled Foreman, who is confident in general roading, footpaths and streetscape divisions, and able to adhere to all health and safety and environmental controls. We are also interested to hear from candidates that are seeking a leadership role and looking for a Foreman position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Getting stuck in – laying asphalt or placing concrete, clearing slips, replacing signs or clearing rubbish.
- Leading your crew, setting daily goals and completing paperwork (online).
- Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver project outcomes.
- Provide clear communication and leadership to the team.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met and actively promoting a safe work culture.
- Interacting with members of the public.
What We’re Looking For
- Physically fit with civil construction industry experience as a foreman.
- Full Class 2 drivers licence and RTW is preferred
- Possession of a current Construct Safe ticket
- An excellent work attitude – we’re looking for positive, hardworking and reliable people to join our collaborative teams.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Collaborative and Solutions-Focused Attitude – Someone who adds value and takes ownership of projects.
