The Opportunity
Launch your career in private credit with a fast-growing non-bank lender. This is a front-office, client-facing opportunity for an ambitious graduate looking to break into the buy-side of financial services. As a Graduate Business Development Associate, you’ll be at the forefront of deal origination, working directly with borrowers, brokers, and developers to drive lending activity across our portfolio.
This role is ideal for those with a commercial mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for real estate finance, credit markets, and investment origination. You’ll gain hands-on experience in relationship management, deal structuring and credit risk analysis – core skills for anyone looking to build a career in private credit or institutional lending.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Originate and qualify lending opportunities by engaging directly with mortgage brokers, property developers, and borrowers.
• Support senior originators with client outreach and presentations.
• Contribute to front-end deal flow across residential, commercial, and construction finance.
• Assist in credit risk assessment and learn how deals are evaluated, priced, and approved.
• Drive marketing and business development campaigns via events, digital outreach, and LinkedIn content.
• Maintain CRM records and track pipeline activity to support strategic growth.
