THE ROLE

Entering an exciting new phase of growth for the organisation, we are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Officer who will be responsible for managing the financial transactions related to the company’s suppliers and customers. This role involves processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, payments, and account statements while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by assisting in managing payables and ensuring that outstanding balances are collected or paid as per agreed terms.

The role is based at either our East Tamaki or Pukekohe branch. (Our preference would be to work across both branches, but flexibility is available for the right person). This is initially an office-based role with hybrid working from home arrangements available once fully up to speed in the role.
Interviews are available ASAP. Working hours are Mon-Fri between 8am – 5pm.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, or similar financial roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, SAGE, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word. Excel use a basic intermediate level is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience in a similar industry or sector (preferred)
- Knowledge of tax regulations & compliance related to AP, AR & finance processes (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry & reconciliation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
