Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee our Footscray Branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring sales targets are met through growth, delivering exceptional customer service and building successful relationships with key customers and stakeholders. The Branch Manager will have prior experience leading and motivating a team of employees to achieve company goals.

Reporting to the Area Manager you will focus on optimising operational procedures, overall sales and profitability of the Branch. Ideally, you will have strong product knowledge in the plumbing industry, experience in plumbing or trade distribution. The successful candidate will have great people skills and a hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities:

– Manage all aspects of the branch including sales, inventory management, and customer service

– Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets

– Train and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service

– Monitor employee performance and provide feedback as needed

– Ensure compliance with OH&S, company policies and procedures

– Handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner

– Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Skills:

– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

– Knowledge of retail operations
