This role is 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday with Day and Afternoon shifts available.
What You’ll Do
- Assess and plan production orders to meet daily schedules
- Operate—or learn to operate—our coil-slitters and pan-brake folders to create custom flashings and other sheet-metal products
- Manufacture custom sheet-metal products using specialised equipment to exact specifications
- Pick, pack and wrap finished orders for dispatch
- Keep a sharp eye on quality and attention detail
- Contribute to general manufacturing and production tasks to keep operations running smoothly
About You
- A positive, hands-on team player who loves to learn
- Good communication skills—able to follow instructions and work effectively with the team
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good with numbers and able to read basic drawings
- Forklift licence is an advantage
- Experience with SWI Engineering machinery is a strong plus (but not essential—full training provided)
- Experienced operators: bring your skills and you could step straight into a permanent full-time role
