Barista – Expression of Interest

Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in North Sydney. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and machine maintenance will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their experience is both enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas
• Oversee coffee machine settings and perform regular maintenance checks
• Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
• Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation and service standards
• Manage inventory of coffee supplies and report any shortages to management
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food and beverage preparation

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Barista experience preferred
• Experience in front of house roles
• Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management skills
