Summary

We are seeking an experienced health and wellbeing professional to join our team at our Head Office located in Helensvale. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing mental health and wellbeing programs for Yalari Alumni. This role requires experience working with young Indigenous adults in a variety of life, education and work settings. Strong cultural awareness and experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are crucial.

For almost 20 years, Yalari has been changing the lives of Indigenous children from remote and regional communities, by providing scholarships to Australia’s leading boarding schools.

Responsibilities

The Alumni and Pathways Wellbeing Lead will be responsible for:

Developing a mental health triage framework and its subsequent implementation and management.
Delivering the financial literary program for Indigenous young adults.
Developing and delivering the young parents support network working closely with the A&P Program Coordinator on delivering the retreat component.
Developing and delivering the annual Alumni Wellness retreat.
Ensuring the timely performance reporting on all programs under your lead.
Actively using the CRM and maintaining quality data entry to enable data-driven insights to inform work.

Qualifications

Qualifications in mental health, health or wellbeing disciplines advantageous but not essential.
