About the role

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented User Guide Content Specialist to help educate and support Halaxy customers. In this role, you'll create and maintain self-service resources such as help articles, tutorial videos, in-app messages, and API documentation. You’ll work closely with our tech, design, and service teams to deliver clear, engaging content that improves the user experience and keeps customers informed about product updates and new features.

Reporting directly to the Co-Founders & Co-CEO’s you will be responsible for creating engaging customer educational content to scale the business from $20M to $40M to $100M.

Key accountabilities

Customer Education Content - create self-service education content for Halaxy customers, including:

Writing Help Guide articles
Creating supporting images and graphics
Producing tutorial videos
Maintain and regularly update existing Help Guide content to ensure accuracy and relevance
Localise Help Guide content for key international markets to ensure global accessibility

Video Production - Produce end-to-end video content, including:

Scriptwriting
Filming and screen casting
Video editing and motion graphics

In-App & Product Communication

Create and manage in-app messages using User pilot to guide and inform users
Collate and communicate product updates and new features via clear and engaging Release Notes

Technical Documentation

Maintain and update Halaxy documentation in line with new releases and product changes

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

Work closely with the tech and design teams to produce intuitive and user-friendly UX copy
Support the marketing team by providing design content for communications and campaigns
Help upskill the Service team by providing training and resources on new features and updates

Skills, Knowledge & key competencies

Strong problem-solving ability, be able to identify issues and develop practical, customer-focused solutions
Clear and concise writing skills with a focus on simplifying complex technical or product information
Ability to translate complexity into clarity by creating content that is accessible and easy to understand
Graphic design and video production skills, ideally using tools within the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
Experience with content creation tools such as Paligo, Zendesk Guide, and Camtasia (preferred but not essential)
Basic HTML and CSS knowledge – useful for formatting content but not mandatory
A foundational understanding of user experience (UX) design principles, particularly as it relates to content and in-app guidance
A certificate / degree in a related discipline is advantageous
Proven experience ideally within a SaaS or high-growth environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and evolving environment.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines
Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritise accordingly
A curious mindset with strong initiative
Excellent communication skills, be able to convey ideas clearly across different formats and audiences
