So, what’s the brief?
We’re so glad you asked! We are currently on the hunt for a resident SEO Strategist who will showcase their analytical (logical side) and marketing (creative side) skills on the daily! These skills will play a key role in helping you implement SEO strategies to improve our clients’ online visibility, rankings, leads, sales and overall digital strategy. As a result, you’ll be helping grow our clients’ business – how exciting!
Our Head of SEO & PPC will guide you through the role, and you’ll also have the support of our amazing SEO team to answer any of those burning questions. Working alongside this vibrant bunch, you will spend your time prepping reports, completing keyword research, onboarding new clients, creating content, identifying quality backlinks, creating or managing Google Business Profiles, and a whole lot more!
A snapshot of your day…
08:00 – Kickstarting your day, coffee (or caffeinated beverage of choice) in hand, ready to conquer!
08:15 – Energised, you jump into a quick huddle with the SEO & PPC team to strategise and brainstorm ideas.
09:00 – Next up: content creation! You dive into all things blogs, service pages and optimisations.
10:30 – Keyword research and competitor analysis is next on the agenda, working on a client’s latest campaign and providing opportunities for even better rankings, YAY!
12:00 – Lunch-time with the crew – you can expect food reviews, restaurant recommendations, weekend stories and plenty of laughs! You might even squeeze in a game of ping-pong with our current reigning champ (A.K.A Gabs)
13:00 – Back at it, you host a client strategy session discussing goals, trends and how you are going to help with driving those results.
14:00 – That went well! Now, it’s time for some on-page SEO! You fine-tune meta tags, heading structures, and internal links to further boost those rankings.
15:30 – Team collab session – you work with the team to help each other problem-solve, brainstorm and create broader marketing strategies! Everyone’s a winner!
16:30 – A quick client check-in via Loom before the end of the day to give them an update on their very successful campaign.
17:00 – What a busy yet fulfilling day! Time to knock off and pat yourself on the back for another productive day with the team!
Who we’re looking for…
We’re not looking for Einstein, however:
- You possess strong analytical skills – you love solving problems and digging into data
- You’re a quick learner and hungry to grow in the digital marketing space
- You’re a creative thinker, and developing fresh SEO strategies excites you
- You work with a positive attitude, and you’re a team player (bonus points if you love coffee, food, or pups!)
- You have a proven track record of delivering measurable success for your clients
Bonus (But not essential)…
- Experience with SEO management software platforms such as Semrush, MOZ, Google Keyword Planner, etc. (But if you don’t and you’re a fast learner who loves tutorials, you’ll be fine.)
- Familiarity with various analytics and conversion rate optimisation platforms such as Google Analytics, HotJar, etc.
- At least 1-2 years of agency experience.
