About the Promotion
- This Promotion is offered by Employment Hero Pty Ltd (ABN 11 160 047 709) and its affiliates (Employment Hero).
- As set out in these Terms & Conditions, this Promotion provides the opportunity for an Eligible Participant to receive a Reward (Promotion).
- The Promotion will begin on 2 June 2025 and conclude at 11:59pm on 22 June 2025 (Promotion Period).
Who can enter the Promotion?
- The Promotion is open to individuals who sign up to the Employment Hero Jobs platform and apply for the hypothetical role of Sunset Supervisor at Fitzroy Island Resort (Eligible Participant).
- Your application for the hypothetical role of Sunset Supervisor through the Employment Hero Jobs platform at employmenthero.com/jobs will be considered as your entry for the Promotion.
How to qualify for the Promotion?
- To qualify for the Promotion, you must:
- be above the age of 18;
- be available to travel and stay at Fitzroy Island resort for 4 days and 3 nights on the week commencing 14 July 2025. Please note: there may be flexibility on the dates, but it is entirely at the discretion of the organisers; and
- be willing and able to participate in content creation during your stay.
Reward
- The winner will receive a “dream job” experience as a hypothetical Sunset Supervisor at Fitzroy Island Resort, including:
- Accommodation at Fitzroy Island Resort for 4 days, 3 nights;
- Transportation from your nearest Australian capital city airport to Fitzroy Island Resort, including economy class flights; and
- An allowance of $1000 to cover expenses while you are on Fitzroy Island, including food and drinks (Allowance), (Reward).
- The total value of the Reward is limited to a maximum of AUD$4,999.
- There will be 1 winner, drawn at random at 3.00pm (AEST) on 25 June 2025 at Level 2, 439-441 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The winner will be notified on 25 June 2025 via phone and subsequently in writing using the details collected from the winning Eligible Participant through the Employment Hero Jobs platform.
- The winner will be given 48 hours to confirm availability to travel on the dates specified once notified. If the winner is unavailable, the Reward is forfeited and the organisers will draw another winner at random at 3.00pm (AEST) on 30 June 2025 at Level 2, 439-441 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
- Once the Reward has been claimed, we will publish the results via social media.
- In order to comply with Australian regulations, in the event that the cost of flights from the winner’s chosen Australian airport plus other components of the prize causes the total value of the Reward to exceed AUD$4,999, the winner will be required to pay any excess amount out of the cash allowance. The winner will be informed of any excess flight costs prior to booking and will have the option to forfeit the Reward.
Other Terms and Conditions that apply
- For clarity, the “role” of Sunset Supervisor at Fitzroy Island Resort is a fictitious job, created solely for the purposes of this Promotion. Outside of the Reward, the winner will receive no remuneration for their participation in the Sunset Supervisor “role”. The Promotion is not an Offer of Employment.
- Standard Employment Hero Platform Terms and Conditions may apply.
- Separate terms and conditions will apply to the Eligible Participant’s use of the Reward. These terms will be set out by the Reward provider.
- Any personal data collected as part of the Promotion is managed in accordance with the Employment Hero Privacy Policy.
- Where you participate in content creation as part of the Reward, such content will be created and used in accordance with our Marketing Release Form.
Liability
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Employment Hero (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, for any loss or damage arising in connection with this Promotion, including any:
- technical difficulties or Reward malfunction (whether or not under Employment Hero’s control);
- theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
- entries that are late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after Employment Hero receives it) due to any reason beyond Employment Hero’s reasonable control;
- variation in Reward value to that stated in these terms; or
- tax liability incurred by an Eligible Participant.
General Terms
- The Reward is not transferable to any other products or cash.
- The Reward is granted ‘as is’ and Employment Hero does not provide a warranty of the Reward’s merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Employment Hero reserves the right to terminate the Promotion early in full or in part at its absolute discretion.
- Laws may apply to Eligible Participants or to Employment Hero as a result of either party’s specific location. If this is the case, and if those laws are inconsistent with any part of these terms, those laws will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
- If any part or provision of these terms are invalid, unenforceable or in conflict with the law, that part or provision is replaced with a provision which, as far as possible, accomplishes the original purpose of that part or provision. The remainder of these terms will be binding on the parties.
- These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
