About the Promotion
1. This Promotion is offered by Employment Hero Pty Ltd (ABN 11 160 047 709) (Employment Hero).
2. As set out in these Terms & Conditions, this Promotion provides the opportunity for an Eligible Participant to receive a Reward (Promotion).
3. The Promotion will be conducted on 31st April – 1 May 2024 during the HR Leaders Forum 2024 (Promotion Period).
Who can enter?
4. The Promotion is open to all attendees of the HR Leaders Forum during the relevant Promotion Period (31st April – 1 May 2024) (Eligible Participant).
How to enter?
5. To enter, Eligible Participants scan the QR code made available at the event and enter their details via the following form – https://hr.employmenthero.com/AU_HR_Leaders_Forum_CompetitionPage.html
6. Eligible Participants will go into the draw and 1 winner will be drawn.
Reward
7. There will be 1 winner drawn after the event who will receive an Apple Watch SE 40mm Midnight Aluminium Case GPS + Cellular (Reward).The winner will be drawn on the day after the event, on 2nd May 2024. The winner will be notified on 2nd May 2024 via phone or email. The reward will be delivered to the winner after the winner has been contacted.
Other Terms and Conditions that apply
8. Standard Employment Hero Platform Terms and Conditions may apply.
9. This Promotion is managed in accordance with the Employment Hero Privacy Policy.
Liability
10. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Employment Hero (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, for any loss or damage arising in connection with this Promotion, including any:
10.1. technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Employment Hero’s control);
10.2. theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
10.3. entries that are late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after Employment Hero receives it) due to any reason beyond Employment Hero’s reasonable control;
10.4. variation in Reward value to that stated in these terms; or
10.5. tax liability incurred by an Eligible Participant
General Terms
11. The Reward is not transferable to any other products or cash.
12. The Reward is subject to change based on availability.
13. Separate terms and conditions will apply to the Eligible Participant’s use of the Reward. These terms will be set out by the Reward provider.
14. The Reward is granted ‘as is’ and Employment Hero does not provide a warranty of the Reward’s merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
15. Where there are any non-excludable warranties, guarantees or other rights provided by law (including under the Australian Consumer Law), these still apply. These Terms do not exclude, restrict or modify them. Our liability for breach of any such non-excludable warranty, guarantee or other right is limited to (at our option) either replacing or paying the cost of replacing the relevant service (unless the law requires otherwise).
16. Employment Hero reserves the right to terminate the Promotion early in full or in part at its absolute discretion.
17. Laws may apply to you or to Employment Hero as a result of your specific location. If this is the case, and if those laws are inconsistent with any part of these terms, those laws will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
18. Severability: If any part or provision of these terms are invalid, unenforceable or in conflict with the law, that part or provision is replaced with a provision which, as far as possible, accomplishes the original purpose of that part or provision. The remainder of these terms will be binding on the parties.
19. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
