We’re looking for a passionate Pastry Cook / Sourdough Baker to join our small, skilled team on the Surf Coast. Our bakery is built on purpose: we craft 100% Certified Organic sourdough bread and pastries using ethical ingredients sourced from farmers who care for the planet as much as we do.

About You:
You’re a qualified Pastry Cook / Sourdough Baker who:
Is passionate about genuine, certified organic sourdough bread and pastries
Values working with the highest quality ingredients from ethical sources
Believes that every baked item can make a difference—for people and the planet
Has experience in patisseries and holds a Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent
OR
Has experience in baking, ideally sourdough, and holds a Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread) or equivalent
Has a minimum of 3-5 years of baking experience
Enjoys leading and mentoring others in a collaborative team
Is eager to learn from our experienced team and bake with our 43-year-old leaven
Prefers daytime hours in a well-managed, friendly, family-owned bakery
What You’ll Do:
Mix, mold, and manage doughs with care and precision
Operate mixers and manage fermentation environments
Bake in our state-of-the-art German deck oven
Maintain high standards of quality and consistency
Support apprentices and contribute to a positive team culture
Complete OHS and cleaning checklists
Report to the Head Baker
