A bit About the Role
Here at Youth Projects, our team of Youth Activities Program Coordinators are responsible for coordinating and implementing meaningful and impactful education and training programs for young people in your community. This role is based in Werribee but will require travel to and collaboration with our many teams cross the Western Suburbs.
As a Youth Activities Program Coordinator, you will work with clients aged 15-25 who are engaged in accredited study pathways and help understand their needs and keep them engaged by working with internal and external teams. You will be responsible for managing everything from registration to graduation across industries such as Health Care, Warehousing, Construction and Administration, contributing to real employment pathways for our clients.
A key to your success in this role will be your ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with TAFE’s, RTO’s and our own Recruitment Partner and Youth Coach teams.
Key Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, Career Development or Employment Services (required).
- Experience in an employment-services, training industry, and/or community/youth sector (highly regarded)
A bit about you
- You have experience designing, implementing and managing employment and training programs, preferably youth focused.
- You have the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and have experience with managing stakeholder relationships.
- You have a flexible approach to youth engagement and can use your experiences to adapt to each client’s unique situation
- Familiarity with key sectors like healthcare, warehousing, construction, and administration will be highly advantageous
