We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Advanced Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team. If you love supporting athletes to grow, learn, and reach their potential — this is your place to shine.

You’ll work within a committed and encouraging team to deliver high quality training programs, support athlete development, and uphold the highest standards of safety and wellbeing.

✔️ What You’ll Bring

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Advanced coaching accreditation and experience delivering structured, high quality programs

• A genuine passion for athlete development and wellbeing

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to engage, motivate, and support children in a sport and recreation environment.

• The ability to work collaboratively with athletes, parents, and staff

• Experience coaching Levels 2–10, with a strong understanding of athlete progression.

• Enthusiasm, positivity, and a love for seeing athletes succeed

YMCA Geelong Board and Management are committed to the safety and well-being of children and young people in accordance with our Child Safety and Wellbeing framework. All applicants must undergo satisfactory screening prior to commencement, including but not limited to:

  • a national criminal history check;
  • an international criminal history checks where applicants have worked overseas;
  • holding or obtaining a valid Working with Children Card;
  • Three reference checks.

The successfully appointed applicant will be required to adhere to the Safeguarding Children and Young People policies and practices, which include; Child Safety and Wellbeing induction, annual SCYP training programs & committing to upholding the safety and wellbeing of children and young people throughout terms of employment.
