Your Role

As our Business Development Manager, your role is pivotal in our growth journey. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting and Lead Management: Identify and research prospects, thoroughly understanding their needs and pain points. Use our CRM to manage leads professionally, moving prospects through the sales pipeline with clarity and purpose.
  • Engaging Clients: Conduct drop-ins, phone calls, and follow-ups to generate fresh business. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare tailored presentations and compelling proposals that highlight our value.
  • Client Onboarding: Take full ownership of onboarding new clients by coordinating internal teams to ensure smooth delivery, timely communication, and a great customer experience from day one.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with existing clients, regularly checking in to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or added value.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide weekly reports on sales progress, pipeline status, and client updates to the National Sales Manager. Analyse data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and sales support teams. Participate in cross-department meetings focused on strategy, planning, and customer experience to amplify overall business performance.
  • Budget Management: Manage and work within your allocated expense budget responsibly to maximize your contribution to company performance.
