THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced merchandiser to join the team on a full-time basis to service Bunnings across New South Wales.
A fully maintained company vehicle is provided.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain regular services to customers in the designated areas to achieve set sales and targets.
- Visual merchandising – ensuring the product is stocked as per planograms, correct placement of orders for store sales and ticketing is maintained;
- Relaying existing stores and merchandising new stores;
- Promote the marketing of the company’s products;
- Effectively manage and resolve customer complaints;
- Act as a brand ambassador; and
- Work autonomously to manage allocated territory to deliver business objectives;
This role will require some overnight travel as part of its regular call cycle
ABOUT YOU:
- Previous merchandising experience, preferred;
- Must possess a current driver’s licence;
- Working knowledge of planograms;
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment;
- Exceptional time management and ability to prioritise and plan for effective territory coverage;
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
- Proven history of meeting & exceeding targets;
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster professional relationships;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Resilience to work under pressure and think on your feet;
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office & skills;
- Experience with CRM systems use, highly regarded; and
- Prior experience in a timber wholesale environment will be highly regarded, although not essential.
