Woodhouse Timber is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Sales Team in Queensland. This hands-on role is responsible for selling and maintaining Woodhouse Timber’s range of products to Independents, Bunnings Retail, and Bunnings Trade clients, ensuring state sales objectives and KPIs are met.

About the Role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and grow Woodhouse Timber’s key client accounts, identify new business opportunities, and support trade and commercial category development. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including Product Development, Operations, and Marketing, to drive alignment and maximise sales performance while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, including Independents and Bunnings Trade.
  • Execute sales plans and develop strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Support sales teams with product knowledge, presentations, and client solutions.
  • Use CRM systems to manage accounts and track sales performance.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to inform business strategies.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support company-wide sales objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience, ideally in building products.
  • Strong relationships with Bunnings and Buying/Procurement Groups highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to develop client relationships, deliver presentations, and drive sales results.
  • Experience supporting high-performance sales teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license with regional and occasional interstate travel required.
