Woodham Petroleum Services is a family-owned business operating a regional network of fuel depots and outlets across NSW and QLD. We own and operate a substantial fleet of fuel tankers and are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term stability and a supportive work environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Controller/Accountant, you will manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, reconciliations, and payments to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile supplier invoices and payments
• Maintain accurate supplier records and ensure compliance with company policy
• Reconcile bank statements, remittances, and unmatched payments
• Prepare payment runs and upload batches to online banking
• Conduct supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with credit card reconciliations and general finance administration
• Prepare routine financial reports including aged creditor reports
• Other ad hoc duties as required

About You

• 3–4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, purchase order procedures, and account reconciliations.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
