Chef de Partie

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team as we prepare for a range of exciting upcoming events, including Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular and also for our regular venue operations at Carriageworks.

You’ll be part of the Food & Beverage team delivering an exceptional guest experience — preparing and presenting food efficiently while helping keep kitchen operations running smoothly across both touring productions and venue-based events.

Expect big crowds, high energy, and plenty of showtime excitement, whether working at Carriageworks or supporting major live productions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver quality food service

• Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes

Support kitchen operations

• Assist with food preparation and service during busy show periods
• Work closely with the kitchen and F&B team to ensure smooth service

Maintain kitchen standards

• Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and well-presented
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Assist with stock and setup

• Support stock rotation and replenishment
• Assist with kitchen setup, pack down, and equipment organisation where required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
• Ability to stay orgsanised and efficient during high-volume service periods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and passion for quality food service

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the theatre season
