SA State Manager

Summary:

The SA State Manager oversees and drives Willyama’s cyber security and IT business in South Australia, by proactively leading, developing and managing the team to achieve set company objectives, sales revenue and profit margins. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the effective implementation of IT solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT management and a passion for driving technological advancements, making a significant impact on our organisation’s success. Based in Adelaide, the successful candidate will play a key role in aligning IT strategies with business objectives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of security awareness across our clients’ environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SA team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration 
• Manage key customers and relationships, overseeing tenders and project management, process improvement & operational efficiencies 
• Business development, overseeing sales revenue and profit margins 
• Manage sales, marketing, and operations, delivering strategic business initiatives 
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards 
• Manage budgets and resources effectively 
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends 

Skills, knowledge and experience:

• Proven experience in cyber security and IT or a similar role 
• Strong leadership and team management skills, encouraging a customer service-oriented culture, and building on success 
• Demonstrated strong sales management, sales, business development and marketing skills 
• Strong operational, contract, commercial, and financial capabilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment 
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field highly desirable 
• Experience in Federal Government and/or Defence highly desirable 
• NV1 clearance or the ability to obtain
